Swiss Simmental genetics dominate at the Sommet de l‘élevage

CLAUDIA

As part of the Sommet de l’élevage in Cournon (France) an exhibition for Simmental breed cows was held. Swiss genetics knew how to impress. In the selection of the udder quality winner of the young cows, three of the four cows had a Swiss bull as their father. The fathers were LENZ, KRISTALL and VOLFLEUR. Christen Frédo Claudia also won the class of 2nd calved cow. This performance has shown once again that Swiss Simmental genetics is a world leader for udders, feet and legs. In addition, the 11 year old Saemi-daughter, Claudie, won the title for the cow with the best conformation. Claudie currently has a life-long output of > 70,000 kg milk.
